4-Steps to Get the Best Results Using Revivol-XR®

Stop Doing These Things:

  • Stop scratching, touching your anus area and avoid irritation.
  • Stop using other products immediately (soaps, creams, ointments, powders, medicated alcohol wipes, dry cloths, etc.)

4-Step Revivol-XR® Process:

When to start: Complete steps 1-4 when you feel irritation or need to scratch and after every bowel movement. Avoid random applications.

  1. Cleaning Area: It is crucial to ensure the area is fully cleansed and dry before applying. Highly suggest using Revivol-XR® Hygienic “Down-There” Cleanser or alcohol-free baby wipes until no color appears on the wipe.
  2. Drying Area:  Gently pat dry with toilet paper. Avoid using dry clothes. Do not scratch or rub the area hard. Avoiding further irritation is key to success.
  3. Application: Always wash your hands before applying.  Follow directions on product.  Apply a small, pea-sized amount to the inner rim of the anus but do not insert deeply and/or with force directly on hemorrhoid. Wipe off excess ointment.
  4. Protectant:  Keep a thin layer on the anus as a protectant at all times until you feel consistent improvement. Stay positive; results may take several weeks, depending on the grades (1-4) of your hemorrhoid(s).

Additional Tips for Relief:

  • Burning Sensation: If Revivol-XR® stings too much, ensure the area is clean, see Step 1 above. To remove our cream, use a hygienic wipe and apply ice or a cool damp cloth.  Consider using zinc oxide ointment temporarily.
  • Immediate Relief: Apply ice, take warm sitz baths (with Revivol-XR® Sitz Bath Salts Mix+), and use cool air to dry the area.
  • Daily Regiment:  Stay hydrated, drink plenty of water and ask your doctor about using 200-500mg Magnesium Supplement daily for regular soft bowel movements.
